CDBR-B Parallel Connection Notes

• Braking units have a MASTER/SLAVE selection jumper (See Figure 2). Select “MASTER”

for Braking Unit 1 and “SLAVE” for all subsequent braking units.

• Connect thermal protectors on the parallel CDBR-Bs in parallel to the drive’s multi-function

input.

• Use twisted pair wire, 18-14 AWG with ferrules, for connections between terminals 5, 6 and

1, 2 of the CDBR-Bs.
